Sawlog Bulletin, a business journal featuring log prices and
specifications from over 500 sawmills and log buyers in the U.S.
and Canada.

We gather four types of information: public, private,
communicative, and automatic.
Public:
Definition
Public information will be available for registered members (free,
regular and premium subscribers) to view. This is information such
as your occupation, buyer or seller of logs, species of wood
interested in, certified logger, etc...
Purpose
Your public information or the answers that you selected in the
"My Profile" page of logfinder.com is used to: personalize your
experience; allow other members to find you through a search
result; compose your business profile, which is associated with an
identity you have created.
Private:
Definition:
Private information is information that can personally identify
you such as your real name, email address or credit card number.
Purpose:
A) When you register to use the logfinder.com service, you will be
asked for some general identifying information to enable us to
provide you with this individualized service. If you choose to
purchase a subscription, financial information (such as your
credit card number and expiry date). This information is encrypted

viewed by others" which is located on the "Edit My Setting" page

Communicative:
Definition:
Communicative information is exclusive between the parties
involved in some form of communication through the logfinder.com
web site. Information such as your internal messaging
conversations, email messages to our service personnel.
Purpose:
We store your messages for the purpose of our anonymous internal
messaging system. Just like email, messages must be stored
somewhere in order to deliver them. We allow you to utilize our
internal messaging system so that you may remain anonymous by not
giving up your email address to other members.
Automatic:

Purpose:
